I started going to Allison 8 weeks after the birth of my second daughter feeling pretty awful physically and emotionally. I had diastasis recti and pelvic floor issues. I didn’t like the way I looked or felt and was so anxious to get moving in the right direction. Allison was the perfect person for me to work with. She has a friendly, calm, competent manner. At first the progress I was making felt so slow but Allison always had some positive feedback to encourage me and always had her exercises to try to keep me motivated. The paced approach she has toward treatment really worked for me, and I’m so grateful that I stuck with it because all the exercises and slow progress paid off in the end. I am now 10 months postpartum and I feel really good about myself–the way I look and the way I feel. My stomach is flatter and more toned than it was even after my first pregnancy and my diastasis recti and pelvic floor are healed. I feel strong and ready to start working toward more advanced fitness goals. I am so grateful to Allison for helping me get my body back on track. If I can do it so can you with Allison’s help!
